  • Neurofeedback Technician

Under the direction of a Certified EEG practitioner and mental health professional, The Neuroconnection is looking for a Neurofeedback Technician to assist in training sessions. This innovative neurofeedback practice is looking for a qualified individual licensed in mental health, nursing or other healthcare field. Students in psychological or other medical areas are encouraged to apply. Experience with autistic children is a plus. On the job training is available in order to learn 10 - 20 placements and neurofeedback protocols. This is a part time position, 30 hours a week. Evening hours are required.

Duties include:

  • Set up individual session before client arrives.
  • Check in with client/parent at each visit regarding changes in behavior or problems after previous session.  Inquire about any medication changes or additional treatments being performed.
  • Chart parent/client comments and own observations after each appointment.
  • Ensure any new medications, behavior concerns or problems are brought to practitioner’s attention immediately.
  • Check training protocols at each session to ensure no changes have been made.
  • Understand electrode placement and measure electrode placement for each client ensuring proper alignment.
  • Other research assignments and duties as requested.

Training Room:

  • Maintain a clean working environment for each client.
  • Maintain training room supplies daily, replace as necessary.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma required.
